De MC70 is een solide, lichtgewicht en veelzijdig inzetbare PDA met een robuuste behuizing. Combineert mobile computing met een draadloos netwerk, spraak- en datacommunicatie (mobiele telefonie), barcodescanner en data opslag voor een elke dag gebruik in weer en wind. Onvergelijkbaar met de standaard consumenten PDA door zijn mogelijkheden en robuuste constructie. Daardoor uitermate geschikt voor buitendienst medewerkers. De MC70 is het eerste hulpmiddel dat hun productiviteit verbeterd en kosten reduceert terwijl het lage operationele kosten heeft en de investering zekerstelt. Met de Service Comprehensive Coverage voorkomt u onverwachte reparatiekosten, ook bij schade ontstaan door een ongeluk (zie suggesties).
De MC70 is standaard uitgerust met een Bluetooth (PAN). Via de LAN optie kunt u real-time communiceren. Spraak is mogelijk via VOIP (Voice Over IP, mits het WLAN daarvoor uitgerust is). De MC70 heeft een grotere luidspreker en hoge kwaliteit ontvanger en zender. Het 3,5 inch touch-kleurenscherm (QVGA) vergroot de gebruikersvriendelijkheid.
De robuuste behuizing maakt dat deze PDA bestand is tegen schokken en vallen (van 1,5 meter op beton; meer dan 1000x vallen vanaf 0,5 mtr) en kent mede daardoor een grote mate van bedrijfszekerheid.
De MC70 wordt geleverd met Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium of Windows 6.1 Classic Edition (Premium Edition) waardoor een enorme verscheidenheid aan programma's beschikbaar is voor allerlei toepassingen, een waarborg voor uw investeringen.
Momenteel wordt de MC7090 nog geleverd met WIndows Mobile 5.0. Geleidelijk zullen er ook modellen komen met standaard Windows Mobile 6.1 Classic Edition (zie hieronder of bij 'Kies uitvoering').

- Windows Mobile 6.1 Classic Edition. Geleidelijke invoering voor MC7090 met 128MB/128MB.
Let erop dat u voor het opladen of de cradle of de RS232- of USB-oplaadkabel besteld.
